We are an independent café located within Newport Links Golf Club, serving freshly cooked breakfasts and lunches as well as delicious cakes and coffees through the day.
Just a 3 minute walk from Newport’s expansive beach and with uninterrupted views across Cardigan Bay and the Preseli Hills, it’s the ideal location for any occasion. Whether you’re looking for a family lunch, a quick snack after a round of golf or a G&T by the sea, we have something for everyone.
Families and dogs are always welcome, with toys and books for the little ones and treats and water bowls for our four-legged friends always on hand. And of course, a licenced bar for the grown ups.
Making the most of fresh local produce, our talented chefs cater for everyone.
Breakfasts range from a simple teacake or toast to fresh avocado and free range eggs to the more hearty full Welsh, with sausages and bacon from our local butcher.
Our uniquely versatile space means we can transform from a casual café setting to a more formal function room with ease. We can cater up to 110 for a sit down meal, or more for a more casual event with a BBQ or buffet.

We are licenced for civil ceremonies so can cater for your wedding from start to finish. Alternatively, we’re just a short drive from many beautiful churches and chapels so ideal for your reception.

(steak &onion) Tender steak, lashings of onions topped with garlic mayo on fresh, thick homemade bread. I can't recommend this place enough for a chilled out lunch experience with and amazing view out over the golf course and Newport beach. Thanks again, see you soon."

Cat Rock cafe never disappoints, great coffee, cakes I can never say no to, dog friendly and cracking staff. Our walks from Parrog now include the cafe almost every time, so we have to then walk off the cake again! Cassie always gets a biscuit too!
